The update broadens the range of large and complex components eligible for instant quotation from 3D CAD data, reducing reliance on manual quoting and external sourcing.
With this enhancement, meviy now supports automatic quoting for CNC milled parts up to 1000 × 600 × 130 mm, including parts with deeper cuts, larger pockets, and higher material removal rates. The maximum supported material removal rate has increased to 85%, up from 50%, enabling efficient processing of large base plates, frames, brackets, and other high-volume parts.
Support for end-face machining on large parts has also been expanded. The maximum machinable end-face length has increased from 400 mm to 600 mm, allowing drilling and chamfering on the end faces of long parts that previously required manual review.
Material coverage has been extended as well, including support for 5083 aluminum across the full automatic quotation size range. Higher material removal rates are now supported for steel and aluminum, while expanded end-face machining is available for steel and stainless steel parts. For parts exceeding the automatic quotation range, meviy continues to offer manual quotation for sizes up to 2000 × 600 × 200 mm.
